Sexy Gowns at the 82nd Academy Awards 2010

The fashion scene on the red carpet was subdued this year with no outrageous or unique outfits appearing on the red carpet.
Although, the fashion looks were subdued, there were still many glamorous gowns gracing the red carpet.
The 82nd Academy Awards also played out in a most unusual manner this year, with the lowest grossing, limited addition film – The Hurt Locker beating the highest grossing movie Avatar.
Even more ironic, both directors – Kathryn Bigelow of The Hurt Locker and James Cameron of Avatar were formerly married.
Kathryn Bigelow wore a titanium silk satin gown with embroidered bodice from Yves Saint Laurent with earnings and bracelet by Boucheron.
She also wore silver sandals by Yves Saint Laurent and a titanium satin clutch also by Yves Saint Laurent.

Oh, an Kathryn Bigelow also became the first woman director to receive an Oscar for directing.
Even more ironic, Sandra Bullock winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for her role in The Blind Side, also earned the worst-actress trophy the Razzie for her performance in All About Steve.

She even appeared at the Razzie awards in person to accept the award, which made her the first actress in a number of years to accept the Razzie award in person.
